When pitching, it’s a must to know how to best hold a ball and pitch the ball. To begin, place your middle finger on the seam. Then you should put your thumb where the other seam is. This lets you grip the bat for the best distance and speed with some improved accuracy.

It’s important to learn and implement the signs given to you by the base coach. Do not forget that the base coaches can see the entire field. Focus on the bases when you are running, not on the ball.
